Our mission statement 


The Heinemann Family. We turn travel time into valuable time as the most human-centric company in global Travel Retail.


We became the company we are today by understanding the business of our partners and their needs better than others. Because we are not a cold, anonymous corporation, but a family: more human, more passionate, more reliable, more accessible and faster than the others. We live in a world where customers expect precisely that from companies: that they continually evolve with their needs and give them exactly what they need, when and how they need it. A world where customers expect companies to enter into more human relationships with them, to stand up for things with conviction and to stand for values that align with their own. 

We are at the beginning of a new era. The time before the pandemic – the last era – is past. And as a company we are also ringing in a new era with our change of generations. We want to carry what has always made us strong into this new era. To translate it for this. And live it with even more focus, commitment and passion. For our B2B customers – but also for the travellers of the world. 

As a family business in the global Travel Retail sector, we will be the company which best understands business partners and the world’s travellers. We will make use of our passion for travel and trade, our cosmopolitan attitude and our empathy to develop relevant, entertaining and inspiring shopping experiences for travellers worldwide – throughout their entire journey. We will be the company that knows when travellers do not have much time and we have to be efficient, but we will also understand when travellers have more time and want to be inspired. As a family company, we stand for human experiences in Travel Retail worldwide. And the travellers of the world and our partners should feel this typical Heinemann personality – offline and online, physically and digitally. This vision, deeply rooted in our family values and history, is what unites us. The Heinemann Family.
